Organic clothes for babies and children

Two facts alone should make organic clothing a considered necessity rather than a luxury for all parents -
1. it’s estimated that up to 60% of what we put on our skin, goes through our skin, and
2. probably over 50% of the worlds pesticides are used in the production of cotton alone (approx 150g of pesticides are used in the production of cotton for one T-shirt !).  What we put next to babies and childrens skin (if not our own!) should be considered as carefully as what we feed them!  If organic food for your children is part of your lifestyle, then why not take a look at organic clothing as well?

Thankfully now there are a growing number of UK businesses either producing or selling such clothes. From baby basics to fashion clothes for older children, there are now many organic options available.

All of the businesses listed oppposite can sell you organic clothing for babies or children. Many of them offer more besides.  Why not give them a call to find out what’s on offer. Or keep an eye on organicsa2z.com for more details.

A number of these companies are proactive in the production of the clothes themselves. Some such as Bao-bab, Gossypium, People Tree & Hug (and others) are producers and their ethical businesses go beyond just organics.

And it’s not just cotton.  Hemp and wool can be organic. And many more UK businesses are beginning to produce organic clothing for adults and other textiles.
Why not get hold of their catalogues now!
