Featured listings are included near the top of all relevant ‘at a glance’ guides.
At a glance guides summarise and may not always include every business
- featured listings ensure your business is always prominent.
Featured listings are more prominent than standard listings and include more
details including your full contact details and a short description of your business.
Also included is a direct link to your own website.
Each new featured listing is included in the ‘new listing’ section of the relevant
monthly county newsletter during the month after listing - reach all subscribers
in your area
Advertising
Free templated, animated Banner Ad included with the Featured Listing.
The banner will be run for one month across your county pages.
10% discount on all advertising placed within two months of purchasing a
featured listing.

Coverage
As with Standard Listings each business is listed in the detailed guide for the
County of choice (usually the county where the business is based). It will also be
included in the relevant regional guide for that county.
Local guides aim to give consumers in an area the widest range of businesses
they can use, so businesses are often included in neighbouring regional and
county guides under the ‘nearby’ section. For Featured Listings this is guaranteed.
To accomodate businesses covering a wider area, a Standard Listed business
can be included in one other county of choice for free. A Featured Listed
business can be included in up to three other counties of choice for free.
For nationwide businesses (e.g. mail order), or businesses wishing to promote
in all county and regional guides a Nationwide Featured Listing can be purchased
for £220 per year, or additional counties can be selected for and additional
£10per year each.
Businesses are also included in all the relevant category guides in the selected
counties and regions. So a business including a farm, farm shop, cafe, box
scheme, delivery and offerring farm visits and accommodation would appear in
up to six different category guides (such as shopping, box schemes, eating out,
accomodation etc) in the relevant counties. All of these guides are regional so
there is no additional cost for this specific promotion.
Top level category guides are compiled at the editors discretion including the
most appropriately organic businesses. Featured listings are always included
in these guides.
